 Education Beyond Expectations is what we provide Blue Valley students. We accomplish this "beyond expectations" experience through personalized student learning, the heart and soul of the district’s strategic plan.
The strategic plan is the district’s roadmap that guides us toward our goals of unprecedented academic success and unparalleled personal growth for every student; and the vision of "Together, we will enable each child to become more than he or she ever hoped to be."
The 2010-15 strategic plan blends what is best from the most recent plan with new goals, new milestones that help our students succeed in the world that is waiting for them. Some highlights include increased focus on college and career readiness, twenty-first century skills and curriculum embedded technology. As Blue Valley works to achieve the goals set forth in the 2010-15 strategic plan, we will see student achievement and academic success reach beyond what we see today. We will redefine excellence.
The philosophy of teachers and staff working together to help kids be successful has become ingrained into the culture of Blue Valley. The district and its staff are committed to doing whatever it takes to help students learn. Blue Valley staff members will continue to work hard each day to help each child find success – academically and personally. The journey toward academic excellence and student success has only begun. |
