Blue Valley Academy provides a significantly different class schedule from the traditional High School model. We run a 4x4 Block schedule that allows students to earn a full semester of credit in a 9 week period of time. Our students enroll in 4 courses each 9 weeks, attend those 4 classes daily for the 9 weeks, and achieve .5 credit for each of the 4 classes at the end of the 9 weeks. Each 9 week period of time is referred to as a Term.

Term 1 - August 17th thru October 13th

Term 2 - October 17th thru December 20th

Term 3 - January 4th thru March 7th

Term 4 - March 19th thru May 31st

Daily attendance and punctuality are critical to the success of the student in a 4x4 Block schedule. To safeguard the educational success of the student; if a student begins to show a pattern of tardies or absences, a meeting will be scheduled with the student and parents to develop a plan for improvement.
